5:30pm - 7:30pm
445 Rue Sainte Hélène (Vieux Montréal)
Following the 1994 Rwandan genocide, a group of courageous women joined together to provide counselling and support to traumatised women and children. Since then, the group has empowered hundreds of women and their children through health and HIV education, trauma counselling, skills training, and most recently, through a micro-credit loans program.
Suggested donations are $50 for adults and $20 for students. Any amount is welcome, as any amount helps. All proceeds from this event will be directly re-invested into the income-generating activities of the women. If you are not able to attend the event but would like to learn more about Tubahumurize's programs or to make a donation, please call (514) 993-2013.
