Conference: The genocide of the Rwandan Tutsis 15 years later
The Status of Survivors, Justice and Memory
The Association of Parents and Friends of the Victims of the Rwandan Genocide, Page-Rwanda, in collaboration with Concordia University’s Montreal Life Stories project and the Alex and Ruth Dworkin Foundation of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Quebec, would like the pleasure of announcing the upcoming conference, The Genocide of the Rwandan Tutsis 15 Years Later: The Status of Survivors, Justice and Memory, which will take place from the 19th to the 21st of March, at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
This conference aims to bring together various figures from the academy and from the community to reflect on the different themes surrounding the 1994 genocide, its impacts and its implications for survivors. The conference is part of a series of commemorative activities which will take place throughout March and April 2009.
